A Walk to Remember
This book is written by Nicholas Spark and released in 1999. The novel, set in 1958-’59 in Beaufort, North Carolina, revolves around two teenagers who fall in love with each other despite the disparity of their personalities. The story is from the perspective of a 17-year-old boy and his love and friendship with a simple holistic teenager. A Walk to Remember is also adapted into motion picture of the same name.

Love Story
Love Story is a classic novel by American writer Erich Segal. It is an international bestseller. Though funny and romantic, Love Story is tragic too. It is the tale of two college students whose love enables them to overcome the adversities they encounter in life. This book is adapted from the screenplay that Segal wrote, and that was subsequently approved for production by Paramount Pictures. He adapted the story into novel upon Paramount’s request, so that the book can be preview of sorts for the film. The novel was released on February 14, 1970, Valentine’s Day. Love Story became the top-selling work of fiction in the United States, and was translated into more than 20 languages.

The Fault in Our Stars is the sixth novel by author John Green and was published in January 2012. It is a book for everyone, be it people in their old age, or teens studying in school, this book is an ideal feel good and emotional novel for all. Written by John Green and published by Penguin UK, in the year 2013, this book has gone on to become a major seller in all parts of the world. It has sold more than ten million copies worldwide.
The book is about two teenagers, Hazel Grace Lancaster and Augustus Waters, who are also the protagonists and follows their lives when they are diagnosed with terminal cancer. Their lives change completely post diagnosis. This is a book that has it all be it love, emotion, drama, humor, pain, fear and even death.
The title is inspired by Act 1, Scene 2 of Shakespeare’s play Julius Caesar, in which the nobleman Cassius says to Brutus: “The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars, / But in ourselves, that we are underlings.”

Wuthering Heights
Wuthering Heights is Emily Brontë’s only novel. It was written between October 1845 and June 1846 and was published in 1847 under the pseudonym “Ellis Bell”. Emily Brontë died the following year, aged 30.
