The Forresta Kitchen is an elegantly decorated forest theme restaurant in Jaipur. The name ‘Forresta’ really compliments it. It is a calm and peaceful restaurant. Once you are there you will forget the hustle and bustle of the city. It’s up notch tidy and well spaced. Forresta gives new meaning to fine dinning.

Ambiance

I have enjoyed food and ambiance of many restaurants in different cities (Kolkata, Pune, Mumbai, Delhi and many more) of India, but this green restaurant is really appealing to the eye as well as to the soul. The first thing as you enter Forresta you will notice is the greenery. There are plants all around and the place is really cool. Jaipur being very hot (upto 47o C) in Summers, the evenings in Forresta are breezy and soul reviving. There is both indoor and outdoor seating in Forresta. The indoor has modern wooden furniture set up surrounded by white walls. All the tables are well spaced for private chats and discussions. The light music that plays in the background is a cherry on top.

Outside seating of Forresta is in a big beautiful lawn and is my favorite. The white and brown color of the furniture kind of goes along with the greenery of trees in the outside seating. The place is very well lit, the yellow light from the bulbs and the candles, make it perfect for romantic dates. With soft music and dim lighting in the breezy evenings, you will surely get lost in each other.

Everything about Forresta is perfect for photo taking—from the rustic interiors to the gorgeous food plating.

There is a well stocked bar in the center of the lawn. The bar roofing has air conditioning which vents out cool mists. It gives the whole place a misty look.
White and brown color of the furniture complements the greenery of trees in the outside seating space. 

Food

Still admiring the surroundings? Let’s get to business and order food. Forresta offers wide variety of cuisines. From delicious vegetarian cuisines to rich non vegetarian ones. Though the prices are on the higher side there is something for everyone here. Forresta is mainly known for it’s Indian, Continental, Chinese and Italian delicacies. Starters are yummy. Juciy Chilly Paneer and delicious Murgh Malai Tikka will fill your heart too. Even the fried lotus stems are worth trying.

For main course you can try Laal Maas with Lachcha Paratha or Tandoori Roti. The mutton gravy is bit spicy but gives you the real taste of Rajasthani Mirch. There are many food options. Panner lababdar is a sight to behold. The aroma fills all your senses. I loved their butter chicken too. You can find the food menu here. 

Coming to the bar they have lots of option. I love Bombay Sapphire (gin) and they serve it well with Ginger Ale. Here is the bar menu. 

This place is really worth a visit. Even the crowd is good and nice here (considering they have a bar). You won’t find loud conversations or disturbing elements here. In all Forresta is a best place to be with your friends.
